VELO Club Sevale's 10m time trial was held on the Severn Stoke A38 course, which lived up to its reputation by providing some fast times on the night with only 24 seconds separating the first three riders.
Visiting rider Stephen Best from the Royal Dean Forest CC took the honours with a time of 22m 40s, with Dave Dickerson the first Velo Club Sevale rider, a close second with a time of 22m 50s and regular rider Brian Boswell's time of 23m 4s giving him third place.
The full results were: 1 Stephen Best 22.40, 2 Dave Dickerson 22.50, 3 Brian Boswell 23.04, 4 Mike Amery 24.23, 5 Kevin Minsky 25.05, 6 Jim Sharrock 25.49, 7 Tony Knight 26.10, 8 Mark Brazier 26.53, 9 Mike Peakman 27.10, 10 Sean O'Toole 27.44.
The next event is a 15 mile time trial on Thursday (May 8) starting at 7pm on Castlemorton common near Welland.
