AN innovative way of finding vacant warehouse space has been introduced by the firm that runs Hartlebury Trading Estate, near Droitwich.
Commercial property company Industrious, which runs 200 industrial estates up and down the country, has launched a dedicated call centre to help customers locate warehousing and distribution space.
The call centre provides users with an immediate update on vacant space of all sizes and for various lease terms.
"The business of locating warehousing space to meet a short-term or seasonal need, or to service a specific logistic contract, is generally time consuming," said Diane Moore, regional property manager for Industrious, which used to be called Saville Gordon Estates.
"Our research showed the majority of distribution companies do not want the constraints of a traditional lease.
"Businesses grow with new contract awards and then, often, need the flexibility to change premises accordingly. That's why Industrious's 'Flexilet' is the ideal solution in the logistics industry."
Hartlebury Trading Estate has a number of vacant units, including a 7,210sq m warehouse with 591sq m of office space, and a 3,974sq m warehouse with 271sq m of offices.
