LONDON Irish won the English Club Colts Knockout Cup with a 31-18 victory over Worcester Rugby Club in the final at Franklin's Gardens, Northampton.
Worcester led 6-5 at the interval and were only one point adrift mid-way through the second-half but Irish eventually pulled clear in the final quarter.
Two tries each from wingers Ian Culligan and Ed Hoadley and another from number eight Patrick Winter laid the foundations for the Irish victory.
Full-back Delon Armitage added three conversions.
Centre Nathan Holsgrove kicked two first half penalties for Worcester who scored tries after the break through scrum-half Ned Anderson and their England Under 19 number eight Mark Hopley.
Holsgrove converted one of the tries.
