Crabbs Cross - Tillers Mannikins. During the last fortnight, Mr Ambrose Tiller has been giving entertainments with his famous show of mechanical mannikins or marionettes in a field near to the Board School. Large audiences have nightly visited the performances which were of an entertaining character.
According to his usual custom, Mr Tiller has kindly helped the local institutions and the sum of 17s has been handed to Mr CC Mills, secretary of the Crabbs Cross Hospital Society to be forwarded to the Redditch Smallwood Hospital for the benefit of Crabbs Cross patients.
