ASTWOOD Bank ace Andy Tinsley continued his headline-grabbing season with a podium finish in round five of the British Superstocks Series at Oulton Park at the weekend.
The Redditch rider was within 0.015sec of second placed Steve Brogan after conceding second place on the final corner of a nailbiting race.
There were plenty of what-ifs for Tinsley who qualified second on the grid just 0.025sec behind Jefferies after a storming final circuit.
With Buildbase/Knotts teammate Luke Quigley third on the grid it was a good weekend for Digby Knott's Redditch-based team.
And the result consolidates Tinsley's position in fourth on the championship leaderboard.
The Redditch rider has 66 points to trail Steve Brogan by 19 points but sits 14 points ahead of Jamie Morley.
Tinsley has the bit between his teeth and is looking forward to round six at Knockhill, Scotland a week on Saturday.
Kelvin Reilly came home 16th for the Redditch-based Magnum Motorsports team with Gary May 19th.
