A HUGE plume of smoke could be seen for miles when an old lorry used for storage went up in flames.
Fire crews suspect arson could be to blame for the blaze, which started about 2.45pm on Thursday in the car park of the Liberal Club at the bottom of Mount Pleasant.
Flames caught the top of nearby trees, causing even more smoke, but luckily nobody was hurt.
Two fire crews from Redditch fire station extinguished the blaze within minutes.
The lorry was being used to store old furniture, including an organ.
