WHILE my children and I were visiting a family in Worcester, recently, we were taken to the woods at the Countryside Centre at County Hall.
I was instantly impressed at such a pleasant attraction.
Having set off for our walk we were interested at the signs of what to look for and the wildlife to look out for, especially having heard a woodpecker.
Unfortunately, we weren't able to concentrate on what was above the trees for all the dog muck on the ground. The sight and smell of it on a hot day is very offensive.
I witnessed dogs fouling the paths while owners had them on leads. No effort was made to clear up the mess.
It's a shame there are not more bins provided to dispose of it correctly. I noticed one bin at the entrance to the walk.
My family enjoyed their day, but it is unfortunate that a pleasant attraction is spoiled by dog fouling.
