BROMSGROVE businesswomen and travel experts Jenny Withey and Beverley Anslow have been regally recognised with a prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise.
The award has been given to the two women for their work as part of Travel Counsellors, a Bolton-based travel company.
The women worked at Wright's Travel in Worcester Road before it closed down, and between them, they have 30 years of travel experience.
The Queen's Awards office said it honoured everyone who contributed to the business and recognised "the success and innovative delivery of a personalised consultancy service to travel customers".
Jubilant Jenny said: "We are thrilled that the expertise and dedication that ourselves and our colleagues have invested in Travel Counsellors has been recognised by such a prestigious honour."
Travel Counsellors is the UK's fastest growing independent travel agent. Jenny and Beverley can visit you at a place and time to suit and use state-of-the-art technology so you can book your holiday from your own home.
The women are self-employed but are a part of the Travel Counsellors group.
