PEOPLE across the county have teamed up to support the NSPCC's annual Children's Day.
This year's motto is "It's your NSPCC. FULL STOP" and the charity is aiming to raise awareness of the issues of child cruelty across the country.
Hereford and Worcester's NSPCC team administrator, Helen Robinson, was at Worcester Royal Grammar School, in Upper Tything, to promote an art competition for the charity.
"Some of the children and young people we are involved with will take part in the judging of the competition," she said.
Pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9 were invited to enter the competition, with judging taking place at the end of the month.
The scheme has not only developed relations between the school and the charity, but is designed to remind people about the range of projects and services the NSPCC runs, including young witness support services, young people's centres and counselling services.
The NSPCC Child Protection Helpline can be called on 0808 800 5000.
