A MAD scramble for tickets to the Beatless' farewell gig has forced organisers to increase the number of ticket outlets.
The phones have not stopped ringing at Worcester City FC since the county's very own fab four announced they would be twisting and shouting for the last time at St George's Lane, Worcester, this Saturday.
Club director Bob Marley apologised to frustrated fans, who have struggled to get through, and said six extra ticket agents had been taken on to cope with the demand.
The Beatless are hanging up their outlandish regalia after 509 shows in eight countries, 127 television and radio appearances and more than £50,000 raised for charity.
Tickets for the 4pm gig cost £6 in advance, £10 on the gate, and are available from Worcester City Football Club or by calling 01905 23003.
Alternatively, DJ Kingdom in Trinity Street, Music City in the Tything, Cannon's Health Club, Speedway Caf on Blackpole Trading Estate, Purwell Newsagent in Astwood Road and Worcester College of Technology are now selling tickets.
