MORE than 1,000 votes have now been cast by Shuttle Times & News readers on whether the newly-Grade II listed Piano Building should make way for a cinema in Kidderminster.
This week Kidderminster Civic Society, which believes the building is worth saving and persuaded the Government to give it listed status for its historical value, states its case.
Meanwhile, Centros Miller and Highstone Estates, who are developing the Weavers Wharf site, are considering an application to get permission to bulldoze the building and the Shuttle/Times and News referendum will provide an indication of the feelings of Wyre Forest people.
Once the outcome is known, we aim to bring together all the parties to discuss a way forward.
