WHERE there's brass, there's brass! That was the new motto forged at a concert in Pershore last year - and organisers are hoping to repeat its success.
The Flowers Band came together with the Cotswold Male Voice Choir to provide Pershore Abbey with a concert to remember last year, raising a tidy £3,000 for Macmillan Cancer Care.
So organisers at Worcester Wychavon Rotary Club decided to bring the two giants together again for an encore performance, this time raising cash for The Stroke Association.
The concert will be in the picturesque setting of the abbey once again on Saturday, May 10, and will cover a broad selection of classic and popular music and songs.
It starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £9 from Blue in Broad Street, Pershore, and A La Carte in the Royal Arcade.
