CHESS: Father-and-son partnership Michael and Peter Kitchen did their best to pull off a shock result on Kidderminster Pawns' trip to Malvern Dolphins in Worcester and District League Division One.
Captain M Kitchen won his game and P Kitchen drew with an opponent graded 57 points higher.
But their efforts were in vain because Mike Riley and Clive Billinge found the opposition too strong and Pawns lost 2.5-1.5.
