A 17-YEAR-OLD from Kidderminster has been cleared by a jury of a sex assault on a girl in a field.
Damien Dalton insisted the girl consented to a heavy petting session.
At Worcester Crown Court he was cleared of indecent assault at the end of a two-day trial.
Mr Dalton, of Cotswold Close, Habberley, and the girl got off a bus together and went for a walk and a chat.
The prosecution alleged that in a field the defendant tripped the 18-year-old girl over and got on top of her, unzipping her trousers and putting his hand inside.
She said he had "tried it on" making her feel dirty. She did not fancy him.
But Mr Dalton claimed she flirted with him a fortnight before the incident in a nightclub, putting her hands in his trouser pockets in an intimate way.
