WYRE Forest Brintons put their disappointing league position behind them by demolishing Malvern Town Reserves 11-0 in the first leg of West Midlands Division One South League Cup semi-finals.
Malvern had knocked out the favourites Bridgnorth Town Reserves in a previous round but were torn apart by their Kidderminster opponents.
Tim Brown opened the scoring with a rasping left-foot drive before Darren Raybould and Richard Costello added two goals each.
Andy Bayliss completed the first-half scoring to give Forest Brintons a 6-0 interval lead.
After the break, leading scorer Andrew Oakes found the back of the net four times and Costello completed his hat-trick.
Matthew Beard was outstanding in midfield, laying on six of the goals.
The second leg was due to be played last night and Ludlow Town Reserves or Lye Town Reserves await in the final.
