THE traditional President's Day match saw Cleobury Mortimer record a 45-20 victory with their best display of the season over a mixed Kidderminster Carolians firsts and seconds team.
Winger Mark Little darted through holes in the defence to put Cleobury ahead with Allan Shields converting in the absence of Colin Smith who was having a minor operation.
The forwards dominated as next season's captain Hylton Smith crashed over and Willie Bache finished off another excellent drive with a converted try.
Paul Hulland crossed near the end of the first half with Shields adding the extra points, while KCs replied with a converted try and a penalty to leave the interval score at 26-10.
Hulland went on to complete his hat-trick of tries in the second period and out-going captain Colin Todd also scored. Shields managed to convert five of the seven tries in total.
