HEAD back in time for a bit of vintage '70s prog rock when Focus takes to the stage in Worcester next week.
The band of Dutch progressive rock masters are back Britain with a tour promoting their new album Focus 8.
Seventies survivors may remember the hits, like Hocus Pocus, Harem Scarem, House of the King and Sylvia but fans will know it was the albums, like Moving Waves, which really make their mark - with more than six million sold.
Yodelling, Hammond-organ-playing flautist Thijs van Leer first put the band together in 1969 and he has worked with a number of musicians ever since. His new line-up sees him joined by guitarist Jan Dumee, bass player Bobby Jacobs and the appropriately-named drummer Bert Smaak.
Live shows in the USA, Canada, South America and Europe have been sell-outs.
Focus are lined up to play Huntingdon Hall on Tuesday. Tickets (£14) are available from the box office on 01905 611427.
