A FIRM platform has been built for next season's Dr Martens Western Division campaign after Stourport Swifts re-signed the majority of their squad.
Boss Dave Titterton has also clinched contracts for key defenders Dave Davies and John Newall.
He described Newall as probably his "signing of the season".
Titterton has offered deals to two other Swifts, while the rest are on non-contract forms.
He has already made initial contact with potential new captures from a Premier Division and Midland Alliance club.
The Swifts manager said: "We have a platform to work from now which we didn't have to start with. I would class the season as a success.
"We've really had to graft hard behind the scenes to get players in, the pattern of play we want and to get a bit of confidence in the club.
"The most pleasing thing has been the character in the squad. Every time we've had a knock-back, we have bounced back again."
Swifts ended their season with a 1-1 draw at Shepshed to finish 19th, one point below Saturday's opponents.
