THE annual general meeting of Bromesberrow Parish Council will be held on Monday at 7pm at Bromesberrow Parish Hall when all electors are welcome. On the agenda will be the election of chairman and appointment of committee and officers.
I have been asked by Mrs Chris Malone, headteacher, to make it clear that Bromesberrow St Mary School do have spaces in the older age group of years 3, 4, 5 and 6 for September.
Nearly 40 members attended Bromesberrow Gardening and Social Club in April and the talk given by John Lowe, director of horticulture at Hartpury College, which focused on the history of their horticultural department. Mr Lowe also spoke on the range of short horticultural courses that might interest members. The theme of the evening was Easter and Mrs Myers had created a wonderful Easter hat, which was the winner. The club's resident gardening expert, David Myers, discussed what should be done in the garden in April and with the village show's horticultural schedule ready members can begin to plan their entries.
