THE annual coffee morning organised by the Forthampton & District Royal British Legion was well attended and all the stalls were doing brisk business. Mr Norman Pittman, group president, does much of the organising and always manages to rally the troops! Mr Yeaman, branch chairman, thanked everyone for their attendance and continued support. The £451 raised at this event, which was held in the village hall on Bank Holiday Monday, benefits branch funds and the Poppy Appeal.
A plant sale and bring and buy will be held on Thursday, May 22, from 4-7pm at Laburnum Cottage, Bushley Green. There will be teas, drinks and nibbles. We hope the weather will be kind, but please come along and support this event which is in aid of St Peter's Church.
