THE May fair on Saturday was as successful as ever and all the stalls did well. Thanks to everyone who supported the event either as donors, organisers or buyers.
The annual general meeting of the parish council will take place at the Memorial Hall at 7pm on Tuesday and will be followed at 7.30pm by a parish meeting, which all residents are encouraged to attend. There will be a presentation on the Herefordshire Unitary Development Plan given by the county forward planning department. They hope to get local participation on a Village Design statement, when residents can put together a plan for their own environment, which will help to determine how the planning of the village and its surroundings develops. The more people who are able to come to this meeting the better, as it is surely important to keep up with any new ideas that may be suggested by the authorities.
Christian Aid Week is May 11-17 and there will be house to house collections for this very worthwhile cause.
