MALVERN Town handed Dudley a relegation lifeline, in the Express and Star West Midlands League Premier Division on Thursday night, when two goals in the last ten minutes, cancelled out Des Cox's 60th minute opener.

In a game where there were numerous chances for both sides, Town hit the woodwork twice in the first half, and Rik Halion was denied by an excellent save, immediately prior to the home sides equaliser.
In a frantic final five minutes, Halion was again denied by by the Dudley 'keeper and Mark Johnson fired wide when well placed.
The defeat means Town now finish the season in sixth place.
