We should all wish the new Malvern Town Council success in its endeavours, however the onus is now on MTAG to justify the electorate's faith in it. As the saying goes "the proof will be in the pudding!"

My congratulations to Coun Keith Phillips, leader of the MTAG group, in securing such an overwhelming result in the elections for the town council.

Anticipating the determination of MTAG to secure an overall majority, I posed a number of questions to Coun Phillips (via this column) as to what his and MTAG's vision for the next council would be. I found his response, to say the least, evasive.

Now that MTAG has the "power" perhaps we can expect a forthright statement of how soon the 30,000 parishioners will see the benefits.
