I am very gratified by the interest taken by Mr A H Thomas (Your Letters, May 2) in my election leaflet for the UK Independence Party which, for various reasons, was printed by a small business in Evesham.

This is not a million miles from Malvern, within the county of Worcestershire, the same county which will cease to exist if plans for regionalisation go ahead unchecked.

It's a great pity if Mr Thomas was not able to support his level of concern for Malvern at the polling booth since his name does not appear to be included in the register of electors.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who voted for me on May 1.
