MALVERN Ladies entertained Burlish Olympic in the Wyvern Associates Cup final at Malvern Town FC.
MALVERN LADIES 4, BURLISH OLYMPIC 1
Both teams started well playing end to end football but failing to break the deadlock until the 33rd minute when a corner from Flick Slater was deflected in off a Burlish defender for a 1-0 half time lead.
After the break Burlish pressed forward in order to find an equaliser. Malvern doubled their lead in the 50th minute when a through ball from Tracey Evans found Emily Prosser who calmly slotted the ball past the keeper.
Burlish continued to push forward but the Malvern defence stood firm. Malvern continued to attack and in the 80th minute Becky Crack stormed down the wing and scored a stunning individual goal.
Malvern then put the game beyond reach when Emma Hinchcliffe chipped the keeper from 20 yards in the 86th minute.
Burlish got a goal back in the 88th minute.
