MALVERN Girls' Brigade celebrated its 20th birthday with a party at its home church.
More than 20 members of the 1st Malvern company gathered at Somers Park Avenue Methodist Church to play games and tuck in to a special birthday tea on Thursday, May 1. The actual anniversary of the company's foundation was April 21.
Captain Jean Griffin, a founder member of the company, said the day had gone well.
"They really enjoyed themselves and enjoyed the food," she said.
"The 20 years have all gone by so quickly. It would be nice to see the company going on for many more years."
