A MALVERN Link dog owner is urging people to be behave more responsibly with fireworks.
Elizabeth Cheeseman's plea follows and incident near her Summerfield Road home on Monday night which left her dog Kim so scared she thought she would have to call the vet.
"She was pulling so hard on the lead that she nearly got away," said Mrs Summerfield. "She was a nervous wreck."
Mrs Cheeseman said she was not calling for a ban on the sale of fireworks but just wanted users to be more responsible.
"I can understand fireworks being set off on Bonfire Night and New Year's Eve," she said. "It's when they're set off without warning that it causes problems."
