WORCESTERSHIRE referee Mick Fletcher, from Wolverley near Kidderminster, will be the man in the middle at this year's FA Vase Final at West Ham's Upton Park ground tomorrow.
Fletcher follows in the fine refereeing footsteps of another great Worcestershire referee, the late Gerald Ashby who refereed the 1995 FA Cup Final between Everton and Manchester United.
Joe Guest, the FA's Referees Officer, said: "Our Referees Committee base their choice on merit over the season from independent observations of a referee's performance."
