A tented city will spring up on Worcester's Pitchcroft Racecourse next week when the
circus comes to town.
The Moscow State Circus features a mobile community of around 80 people, including electrians, engineers, mechanics and plumbers
They're all there to support a glittering line-up of acts who will be flying, bouncing and tujmbling around the huge 40m wide by 13m high big top.
The performers include The Flying Akhtyamovs, a
six-strong trapeze troupe put together by Radik Akhtyamov, a former Olympic gymnast.
Unique to their act is the routine on two mini-trampolines in the high dome of the big top.
The Panov Family are jugglers with a difference because they can juggle on wheels and even with their feet.
Papa Vyatcheslav even foot-juggles his own wife and daughter, Larisa and Sofia.
Goussein Khamdoulaev is one of the most respected high wire walkers in the circus world and trained with the legendary Volschansky Troupe.
He began wire walking at the age of 10 under the tutelage of his father and now performs somersaults 25ft high.
Mixing an aerial routine with stunning contortions are the Duo Demidova, cousins Olga Demidova and Oxana Shapyrina.
The line-up also includes the Bougrova Sisters, line acrobats The Rubtsov Troupe, and not forgetting the clown antics provided by The Averiouchkines.
The Moscow State Circus will be pitched in Worcester between Tuesday and Sunday, May 13-18.
If you can't catch them there they will be in Kidderminster from Tuesday, May 20 to 26 at Oldington Sports Ground.
Tickets cost £10 to £25 from 07030 150150.
