AHMED Raza does himself no favours with his latest outburst, clearly ignoring the facts to peddle a cheap and nasty story.
He asks if I have overlooked All Saints Ward for my surgeries, implying this is somehow prejudice against Worcester's Muslim population.
The facts however, show his outburst to be not only wrong, but also misguided.
I hold four surgeries a month. There are 12 wards in Worcester so it is wrong to suggest, as he does, that I have surgeries in "nearly all the other wards in Worcester."
And, as I actually hold one in All Saints Ward, at the Citizens Advice Bureau it suggests to me that Ahmed Raza needs to check his facts, and a map, before committing pen to paper.
For the record, my surgeries are attended my hundreds of people a year - regardless of race, ethnicity, social class, or gender.
It is what the electors of Worcester expect of me, and I intend to keep it that way, regardless of the rantings of Ahmed Raza.
MICHAEL FOSTER,
MP for Worcester.
