AN open day for people suffering from neurological disorders such as myalgic encephalopathy (ME) and fibromyalgia takes place next Saturday.
The Worcestershire ME Support Group has organised the event for ME Awareness Week.
The open day takes place on Saturday, May 17, from noon at Unity House, Stanley Road, Worcester.
Carole Hounsell, group co-ordinator for Action for ME, will give a talk entitled Action For ME: Campaigning For You - Where Are We Now.
This will be followed by the group's annual meeting. Everyone affected by the illnesses, including carers, friends and medical personnel, is welcome to attend.
The group also needs a new treasurer. Anyone interested in the position should contact group chairman Ian Logan on 01886 888419, or
co-ordinator Jill Pigott on 01905 455187.
