POTENTIAL Army recruits of the future were put through their paces at The Royal Grammar School, Worcester to make sure they were hitting the mark.
Members of the Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters rEGIMENT were on hand for the Grange Biennial CCF Inspection to work with the Army section of the school's Combined Cadet Force.
Warrant Officer Andy Lee, senior school instructor at RGS, said the inspections, held every two years, helped to ensure the highest standards were being met by cadets.
The three forces have their own separate inspections, which are done on a rota basis every two years.
"We have 220 pupils from both RGS and Alice Ottley schools who are members of the Army, Navy and RAF cadets," said WO Lee.
"The cadet forces form a great springboard for students to progress into a future with the armed services and the inspections help to make sure everything is up to standard.''
