TWO Worcester firms are continuing their series of business seminars that give useful information while raising money for charity at the same time.
Harrison Clark Solicitors and Rabjohns Business & Tax Advisers are joining forces once again to put on their fifth thought-provoking corporate conference for local businesses.
"Employees - Your Best Asset or Worst Nightmare" is due to take place on Thursday, May 22, at Worcester Rugby Club, Sixways, Worcester.
Registration is at 4.30pm for a 5pm start. Light refreshments will be provided at 6.30pm at the end of the conference.
A fee of £20 will go to the Acorn Children's Hospice and St Richard's Hospice, in Worcester, the charities the two firms have chosen to support this year. In the past 12-months they have raised £1,395.
Topical
At the conference delegates will be taken through a role-play of various scenarios covering a range of staff-related issues.
"We try to make our seminars relevant and topical," said Paul Mann, from Harrison Clark.
"Subjects covered will include termination of employment, including redundancies, contracts of employment, disability and the Disability Discrimination Act and personal injuries.
"There is always a positive side and our speakers will also explore options designed to maximise tax-efficiency for highly paid employees and ways of retaining valuable people"
Anyone interested in attending should phone Jodie Brandwood on 01905 732124 or apply online on www.rabjohns.co.uk/corporate_conference.htm
