Alcester entertained Ye Olde Knowle in the Northfield League and went down by 18 shots overall despite winning the home leg by 35.
Alcester's Heart of England League side opened with a solid win over Greet by 52 shots.
Victories in the first half for John Alderson (21-7), Ron Hawksley and Renny Bannister (both 21-16) left the Greet side trailing by 23 shots.
Alcester were not to be denied and wrapped up the win in fine style with further excellent cards from Dave Hovell (21-5), Chris Hollins (21-8) and Ken Harvey (21-9).
In the Yardley Wood League, Alcester were at home to Black Horse.
Having only lost by four shots in the away fixture, the team were hopeful of a win at home but with only two winners - Renny Bannister and Ron Hawksley (both 21-8) - lost out by five.
