BIRMINGHAM City Ladies are looking at an unnamed ground with a view to moving back to the Second City next season.

The Valley Stadium tenants have the option of another year in Redditch but have yet to confirm they will take the option.

The club were involved in Blues' kit launch on Monday with Eni Aluko and Sarah Dunn joining Geoff Horsfield and Matthew Upson to model the new Flybe-sponsored kit.

The Ladies will also have kit supplied by their Premiership counterparts.

Blues may have finished their National Division fixtures but there is no let-up for their England contingent.

Midfielder Laura Bassett flew out to the United States on Monday ahead of Saturday's friendly international against World Champions the USA in Alabama.

Coach Hope Powell has promised everyone in the squad will get at least 45 minutes under their belts with Saturday's game followed by a double-header against Canada next week. The first Canadian match - on Monday - has been switched from Toronto to Montreal because of worries over the SARS outbreak, and England play in Ottawa next Thursday.

Half a dozen of the first team are in the under 19s squad to visit Sweden for a friendly tomorrow (Thursday).

Jodie McGuckin, Faye Cardin, Michelle Hickmott, Katy Ward, Jo Potter and Eni Aluko are all hoping to figure in the match at Vavarevallen which has added significance after the draw for July's UEFA under 19s European Championships.

England, who qualified for the finals as one of the best runners-up from their qualifying group, will face hosts and holders Germany, Italy and Sweden in the group stage.
