HEALTH officials have moved to allay fears that a physiotherapy service in Studley is about to be transferred to Alcester causing major upheaval for users.
South Warwickshire Primary Care Trust (SWPCT), which runs the service at Studley Health Centre, has said no decisions had been made but services had to be reviewed as part of an on-going efficiency drive.
But villagers and councillors fear service users, especially the elderly, would be left with a bus journey to Alcester and a half-mile walk if the service is moved.
SWPCT is currently tackling a £4.2 million debt.
