REDDITCH United Women earned themselves a place in the Southam Invitational Cup semi finals by beating the hosts 3-1 in a game which doubled as a West Midlands regional League fixture.
Goals from Becky Jones, Caroline Staples and Rachel Hopkins earned Redditch a semi against Division One South rivals Banbury.
The venue may be switched from Southam's Banbury Road ground because of continued drainage problems.
The Studley tenants complete their league programme at the Beehive tonight (Wednesday, ko 7.30pm) against Fairfield Villa.
Jenny Lawrence is unavailable because of college commitments and Rosy Hughes (knee injury) and Lucy Staniland (university commitments) are doubtful.
The cup semi final could also be played as a midweek fixture because of problems fitting the fixture in.
A number of Redditch players are on holiday at the weekend, Banbury cannot play the following weekend and the Studley tenants are holding an open day at their adopted home on Sunday, June 8.
The club are recruiting new players and anyone interested can visit www.ruwfc.co.uk or call Judy Newman on 456213.
The AGM will be held at Studley FC on Tuesday, June 3 at 7pm.
