Green draw
CUTNALL Green recorded a winning home draw in the rain against Barnards Green in Worcester County League division five last Saturday.
Matthew Harris' side, rained off against Worcester Corinthians last week, lost two wickets in the first six overs.
But the hosts battled well and had Neil Fletcher's 97 and Derek Higgins' 34 to thank for a steady 104 run partnership. A 19-run flurry by Don Faulkner saw Cutnall Green reach 174-8.
Barnard Green's reply was reduced to a trickle by good bowling and rain delays.
Despite a late rally from D Tolley (15) and A Wheeler (16), the visitors were unable to overhaul Cutnall Green and finished on 140-4.
S Beavon finished on 47 and C Genever, 39.
