BARNT Green Spartak missed out on a league and cup double after producing a disappointing performance to lose 3-1 against Earlswood Town in the Challenge Vase final at Studley FC.
Earlswood took the lead on 20 minutes into the game on Bank Holiday Monday, May 5, but Simon Campbell brought the scores level seven minutes later when he volleyed home from a corner.
The match swung Earlswood's way five minutes before the break when Spartak were reduced to ten men with the sending off of Nasir Hanif for his second yellow card.
Seconds later Earlswood went 2-1 ahead.
Earlswood scored again ten minutes into the second half to virtually put the game beyond GJ Singh's side's reach.
