THREE Bromsgrove cyclists rode to superb finishes for Wyre Forest Cycle Racing Club last weekend.
Tony Richardson, Chris Poole and Len Holbeche achieved two firsts and one fourth place between them at events on Saturday.
Richardson finished a creditable fourth in the Beacon RCC 28-mile mountain time trial at Great Witley on Sunday, defying poor conditions to complete the hard course in 1 hour 15 minutes 4 seconds.
Poole was the quickest rider in the VC Servale Malvern ten-mile time trial at Severn Stoke on Saturday. He managed a seasons best time of 25mins 30secs.
Holbeche scored a fine first place with an excellent time of 25mins 22secs, a winning margin of eight seconds, at the ten- mile course at Great Witley and Martley last Wednesday.
