SKIPPER Phil Dixon and Lee Shewry led former winners Cookley to the National Village Knockout Cup third round with a convincing eight-wicket win over Garnons.
The villagers, who took the trophy at Lords back in 1977, restricted their Herefordshire visitors to 147-8 from their 40 overs with only Andrews (56) getting to grips with the bowlers.
In reply, Dixon (57) and Shewry (53 not out) both notched half-centuries as Cookley cruised to a comfortable victory with overs to spare.

Sunday's victory followed a disappointing display in Worcestershire League Division Two the previous day.
At Lea Lane, Brockhampton totalled 241-6 in their 50 overs as only Ian Goodman and Adam Nicholls had any real success with the ball, taking two wickets each.
John Martin gave Cookley a flying start with a quick-fire 38 but when he went, just Nicholls with 29 was able to master the visitors' attack in a rain-affected innings.
In the end, the Wyre Forest side held out for a losing draw with two wickets intact and are still awaiting their first league success of the season.

Torrential rain put paid to the seconds' game after they reached 176-7 in 50 overs at Brockhampton.
Paul Cartwright provided the backbone of the innings with a solid 40, while youngsters Matt Goode (25) and Adam Matthews (37 not out) were the other main contributors.
