MAKING your dreams come true is the aim of a course to be held in Worcester for the first time this week.
Called Positive Living and designed for people who want to get more out of their lives, it will be run by Jaki Allen and Alison Hill.
Both are Reiki Masters and practitioners of Emotional Freedom Technique, a meridian therapy like acupuncture without the needles, which aims to clear negative emotions.
They will not be using these techniques, but have devised a two-day programme, to be held in the Tudor Room at Perdiswell Young People's Club, today and tomorrow, and repeated on Thursday, June 5 and Friday, June 6, price £90 for two days.
"It is designed to empower people and make their dreams come true," said Jaki.
"We will show them how to confront their fears and any limiting beliefs they may have and to find an easy and fun way of releasing themselves."
She said the most insidious limiting beliefs were ones we were not aware of, but might include ideas such as, "I get a cold each winter" and "I am too old to change."
Those taking part in the course will work together and individually on exercises to change their approach to life, using visualisation techniques, positive affirmations and "treasure maps" of the things they want to accomplish.
