Musicians at a school named after Worcester's most famous son have been showing off their talent this week.
Youngsters from the Elgar School of Music are in the middle of an annual festival to promote their talents.
The event started on Monday with an open day at the Deansway-based school and ends tomorrow with a performance of Handel's Messiah in Worcester Cathedral.
A lunchtime concert on Tuesday saw the first performance of incidental music to Shakespeare's Twelfth Night composed by members of the school's composition group.
"The Elgar School of Music is one of Worcester's best kept secrets. But we want to let more people in on the secret," said principal Donald Hunt.
