TWILIGHT turn-up- and-play sport and activity sessions for children have been agreed in principle by members of Tenbury Town Council.
The Burgage recreation ground and the Palmers Meadow sport pitches have been offered to organisers of the sessions and final details will be announced later.
The sessions will be organised through Active Communities Sport and Recreation.
Community Activator, Della Price, said: "The sessions will be open to seven to ten year olds and take the form of free participation under a fully qualified community sports leader.
"He or she will supervise all activities which are expected to include rounders, football, kwik cricket and much more."
Scheduled to be held on Thursday evenings, the sessions will run from June 5 until the start of the school holidays.
Once the summer holidays begin, regular activities will be taking place at the Burgage during the day at various venues and children will be able to just turn up and play free of charge.
