PARISH COUNCIL: At the first meeting following the local elections Peter Smith was welcomed as a new councillor, the previous councillors all being re-elected. Mrs Mary Smith was also welcomed as the new district councillor for the Littletons ward.
Sheepwash bridge has not yet been repaired.
Notification had been received by a parishioner that Cleeve Road will be re-surfaced between June and August.
The county councillor reported that Halcrow are about to install heavy drilling equipment on Fish and Anchor Bank.
The report received from RoSPA in connection with the play area highlighted the high risk of broken glass. It was agreed to remove the glass.
Further information has been forwarded to Worcestershire County Council in connection with the proposed new bus shelter at the crossroads.
The village clean up has taken place and the £500 received from Wychavon District Council passed to the Littleton junior and senior football club who carried out the work.
A meeting is to be arranged with South Littleton parish council regarding the future management of the village hall.
Arrangements are to be made for a speed monitor to be in operation in the village.
It was agreed a parish plan is to be drawn up and more information to be obtained from the Countryside Agency.
