BAPTIST CHAPEL: About 40 Baptists enjoyed a gourmet lunch, combined with scenic drives through country lanes on Saturday, May 10.
Starting at 11am with fruit juice and nibbles at Temple Grafton Baptist Church, they then proceeded to Alcester Baptist Church for tasty home-made soup and rolls. Dunnington Baptist Church was the venue for the main course - a splendid buffet, with many different dishes. From there a short drive to Cookhill Baptist Church for an array of delicious puddings. A slightly longer drive took the travellers to Stock Green Baptist Chapel, where tea/coffee and mints were served.
At each stop there was a short talk about the work of that particular Church and a hymn and prayer at 3.30pm ended a very enjoyable excursion.
