DANCE fans can enjoy top jazz and ballet performances lined up over the next week.
An exciting evening is planned at The Theatre, Chipping Norton, tonight and tomorrow with a mixture of styles on show when The Theatre plays host to the popular Ballet Central tour.
Dance stars of the future from the Central School of Ballet will be showing off their skills in classical and modern ballet, contemporary and jazz works to music ranging from Handel and Ralph Vaughan Williams to Radiohead and Robbie Williams.
The show will combine new works from emerging young choreographers with pieces from established talents including Central Ballet founder Christopher Gable and Michael Corder.
Another treat is in store on Saturday when Independent Ballet Wales brings its version of the classic folk tale The Lady of the Lake to The Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury.
One of Wales's most popular myths, The Lady of the Lake begins in Black Mountains with Rhiwalon visit to the little lake of Llyn y Fan, where he encounters a beautiful woman sitting on the surface of the water combing her long golden hair.And so it continues in an evergreen tale of love and loss.
