VOLLEYBALL: Cleobury Mortimer clinched a crucial 3-0 win at Tamworth to ensure their safety in West Midlands League Division One.
The villagers raced into a 16-9 lead with Simon Eades and Adam Bills each scoring five points from their own serves.
Paul Guest and Nick Di Marco combined well to shut out the opposition, while Carl Brookes took advantage of the quality sets from man-of-the-match Bills.
Cleobury took the first set 25-17 and cruised the second by the same scoreline with Bills, Eades and Simon Fish all impressive.
They wrapped up the match by taking the third set 25-18 .
