A open day will be held in Worcester during ME Awareness Week, on Saturday from noon.
The event is at Unity House, Stanley Road, Worcester, where, at 2pm, Carole Hounsell, Action for ME group co-ordinator will speak on Action for ME - Campaigning for you, where are we now? The talk will be followed by the annual meeting.
This group supports people with ME, CFS and fibromyalgia.
All sufferers, their carers, friends, relatives and medical personnel, will be welcome at the open day.
The group needs a new treasurer, as Tony Sharp has stood down from this position. He will still help the group by auditing the accounts on an annual basis.
Anyone able to help as treasurer, or in any other way, is asked to contact the chairman, Ian Logan on 01886 888419, or co-ordinator, Jill Pigott on 01905 455187.
Worcestershire doctors have a copy of Guidance on the Management of CFS/ME at surgeries.
This publication was officially recommended by the Department of Health to all practising GPs in the country. For further information visit www.geocities.com/worcsmegroup.
