A BROADWAY dairy farmer and his wife have converted a redundant cart shed into a furniture showroom.
James Evetts and his wife, Peta, responded to an advert in a trade magazine.
The Indian Ocean Trading Company, manufacturers of teak outdoor furniture, wanted new partners for their rural partnership of outdoor furniture show-rooms.
Mr Evetts said: "The showroom is a way to supplement an income on which I can no longer live.
"It is something we can do from home."
The farmer added: "The furniture is very good quality. What better way is there to shop for lovely garden furniture than in pleasant surroundings."
The company's extensive range includes chairs, tables, loungers and drinks trolleys. Items are delivered and assembled free of charge. The Evetts showroom will be open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Alternatively, appointments at any other time can be arranged by calling 01386 584068.
